Priced a B7610HST w/FEL. I'm currently using a Ford 2000 (36HP, without FEL) to run a bushhog in rather hilly country in fescue. I'm wondering if the 26hp 7610 will be hoss enough to do the trick.

i got a L3830hst to replace a mf135. could not be happier. after running it (about 100 hrs) i have found a l3130 would have done a real fine job. if really wanting a b sieres look at the B7800 a lot heavier than the 7610. if plowing and disking etc with equipment used on the 2000 i'd not even look at the b's. i love my hydro and would not think of going back to gear, however the l3400dt can be had for arrond 11,500 plus loader. the l3130hst is about 13,600 plus loader, had a b7800hst priced at 11,900 plus loader, thes were all priced with R-4 tires, R-1 (ags) would be cheaper. ....

I only recommend 4' bush hogs on 7610 chassis size tractors. On the 7800 size chassis the five foot that you are using behind your tractor would work fine. ....

Just for your information with implement matching, the 7610 has a pto horsepower rating of 18hp, with an engine gross horsepower rating of 24hp. The 7610 is basically the sane engine and drive train as the 2410, just an economy model. Kubota doen't have a B series tractor with a pto horsepower rating of 26hp. The highest is the 7800/2910 with pto rating of 22hp.

You can move to the L-series Kubota and get 26hp at the pto with the GST. You will need to go with the L-3430 to get 26 pto horsepower in a HST. ....
